Primary duties include the installation, commissioning, and operation of High Vacuum Pumps and Abatement Systems, and the associated electrical and mechanical equipment. Monitoring contracted workers to ensure quality and completeness of installation of new equipment frames, piping, and electrical equipment. I have earned expert-level certifications on VSE and Abatement Systems, LSS, and BCD; and maintenance/supervisory-level certification in GSE. Created and put into practice a periodic Safety Audit of our Subfab which includes assigning and monitoring corrective action steps. I created and presented Beginner, Intermediate and Expert level technician training packages and Power Point lecture materials for newly installed or modified equipment to my working group of over 20 people. I worked closely with teammates in Ireland to update all levels of our BCD training materials to meet their country standards. Initiated the use and created the training material for our customers to use the CS eRequest application to schedule work for my team to support Fab activities. Initiated and finished approx. 20 LEAN experiments and improvements since 2008, and participated in many more. I am one of two Subfab Website administrators responsible to ensure the smooth operation and updating of our website programming and documentation. I administrate all 11 of our VSE/Abatement Desktop Procedures to keep them up to date with procedure changes and equipment changes.
