I grew up in the laundry business and held just about every position possible; my family owned and operated a commercial laundry. We were an unusual business in that we took on all kinds of products from industrial uniforms to table linens and health care products. I sold the family business but I’m too young and too energized to put it behind me.My specialty is in production. I love trouble shooting and problem solving whether it involves an employee not showing up for work or figuring out how to optimize workflows and improve efficiencies. Give me a high-pressure environment and the right tools, and I can solve anything. I’m also very mechanically inclined. You don’t spent years working with machines without learning what makes them tick. Because I wore many hats over the years, I understand how each person and job affects the next. I know the challenges a manager or employee encounters, and I have seen what works and what doesn’t. I walk the walk and talk the talk. And at the end of the day, I know the feeling of a job well done and the positive impact my work has had on the larger community.
