- Provides Senior Budget Analyst Support to the Joint Artificial Intelligence Center (JAIC) of the DoD. Responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, and planning. - Drives budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes for the JAIC, identifying risks and opportunities & ensuring alignment with strategy. Assists in the development of budget exhibits for leadership.- Prepares Military Interdepartmental Purchase Requests (MIPRs) for JAIC.- Serves as business program/management analyst working independently and with senior analysts to support the planning, coordinating, execution and management of the financial aspects of acquisition projects and their sustainment.- Prepares budget estimate inputs, and reviews for compliance with policy, rules, regulations, and procedures.- Prepares a variety of documents, such as: correspondence, forms, reports, statistical tables, spreadsheets, etc.- Assist in the development of an annual Spend Plan.- Financial Reporting: Manages financial reporting for the JAIC and orchestrates internal DoD financial upward reporting for the JAIC.- Performance Measurement - Including but not limited to; key performance indicators, budget vs. actual flux, financial statement analysis, trends / drivers, benchmarking, etc.- Investment Decision Support – Support the client’s decision processes for determining investments.- Financial Systems: Assists the JAIC in maintaining their respective information in relevant DoD financial systems.- Ad Hoc Analyses – Serves as Finance subject matter expert (SME) on projects, analyses, reviews, etc.- Accounting – Perform accounting research as required.

Provides preaward support to faculty, postdoctoral fellows and graduate students in all aspects of proposal development. A major focus of the position is the preparation of proposal submissions for federal and non-federal funding mechanisms. Supports the researchers of the clinical science unit, each of which includes several departments within Georgetown University Medical Center. The proposal development portfolio includes the Departments of Neurology, Family Medicine, Pediatrics, Psychiatry, Radiology, Medicine and Surgery. The Proposal Specialist is responsible for preaward activities, such as identifying funding opportunities, organizing, facilitating, and submitting the development of new, resubmission and competitive renewal research proposals for all grants and collaborative opportunities with other institutions.

The focus of the position is the coordination, submission and execution of subawards and independent contractor agreements. Supports the proposal specialists of the clinical and population science units, which includes several departments of the Georgetown University Medical Center. The subaward portfolio includes the Departments of Neurology, Family Medicine, Pediatrics, Psychiatry, Radiology, Medicine and Surgery and the Lombardi Experimental Therapeutics and Cancer Prevention & Control programs. Works directly with the Research Development Services teammates and is responsible for collecting and compiling consortium information required for proposal submission, setting up and modifying subcontracts and contractor agreements noted in the award.
