William Brian Floyd, MBA, RN is the President and chief operating officer at Vidant Health Hospitals. he is accountable for the performance and coordination of 10 hospitals serving 29 counties in eastern North Carolina. As president of the medical center he is accountable for the performance and educational programs of an 974 tertiary academic medical center affiliated with East Carolina University School of Medicine. Brian is a registered nurse and holds a Master of Business Administration from UNC-Chapel Hill’s Keenan Flagler School of Business. With more than 19 years of progressive health care experience, he is committed to advancing care delivery models to improve health conditions of communities. Brian is an active member of his local community and serves on several boards supporting the health care industry and social and policy development including the North Carolina Department of Social Services and the VHA Central Atlantic region.
