- Certified Inspection Supervisor with all related duties to CSA W178.1 (W178.2)- Certification lead for SNT, ASME, CSA, and NAS410 quality/certification programs. - Technical document author, specializing in code compliant NDT procedures and related quality programs. - Experienced organizing and estimating projects and day to day branch operations.- Certified Welding Supervisor with all related duties CSA W47.1- Field inspection duties in all certified disciplines for call-out and project work.- Technical support contact for operations, field technicians, and customer relations. - Auditor of procedural compliance for multiple quality programs with oversight of field operations.- Trainer (Classroom & practical) – NDT and Visual inspection training of staff for the purposes for initial and/or upgrade certification (SNT, CGSB and/or CWB…) including NDT workshops.- Experience approving employee timesheets, expenses, purchasing, dispatch, invoicing, and recommend new hires through resume review and personal interviews.- Responsibility as lead contact for 3rd party professional certification audits such as Quasar (ISO 9001), CWB (CSA W178.1 Inspection & W47.1 Welding)- Desktop publishing using current windows based programs including the development of sales and marketing brochures, corporate documents, and outside communications.

- Temporary (new facility start-up) project – Responsible for the initial commissioning of a new state of the art welding and fabrication facility designed for high volume output of structural steel.- Primary duties include set-up and commissioning all plant production functions and equipment including incoming material processing (automated cutting, layout and cambering lines), layout and fitting of project material, production welding (including set-up of all welding, cutting, fitting, smoke extraction, tool rail systems and stations) and QA. Post welding processing includes conveyance lines into batch preparation Wheelabrator, and pre-shipping air assisted airless electrostatic coating line.- Staff training for production welding and initial certification to CSA W47.1 for SMAW and FCAW.

- Began employment as a visual QC inspector, and quickly advanced to develop and manage the company’s quality system specializing in Highway Bridge and heavy steel fabrication including advanced coating systems, 3 dimensional laser/CAD modeling, fabrication, and erection.- Progressed further to a Certified W47.1 Welding Supervisor and then obtained certification as the company’s Level 3 W178.2 Welding Inspection Supervisor.- Developed and controlled all custom inspection and test plans and assembled final QA dockets for the Ministry of Transportation and customer files.- Responsible for the company Certification to ISO 9002 and lead the transition to ISO 9001:2000

- During and following training at Northern College in Kirkland Lake Ontario in 1995, experience is gained as a licensed all-position welder and welding fitter for structural steel fabrication / installation in Northern Ontario through Wabi Development and H.E. Brown Supply.- College work terms completed through “Red-D-Arc Welderentals” as a Welding power-source and automation equipment repair & maintenance technician.- Foundation of experience begins within the automotive service industry and stems to fabrication, electronics, and control systems for 400 series road service vehicles.
