PROJECT MANAGER/TRAINER/EQUIPMENT TECHNICIAN/SAFETY OFFICER MIDWEST MOBILE WATERJETMy responsibilities with MMW included:• Training of all employees in hydrodemolition, waterjet cutting, industrial cleaning, coating removal, etc.• Training customers in the maintenance and safe operation of equipment sold or rented to them by MMW and answering any questions after MMW is offsite. • The education of employees in the safe operation of various waterjet equipment, identification/elimination of high-risk activities, and implementing safe work practices.• Servicing and coordinating the regular servicing of the equipment to be used for a given project (including fabrication to adapt the equipment to the environment it would be expected to function in) • Identifying and ordering parts necessary for servicing and maintaining stock of spare parts. This included identifying issues over the phone through employees on site and guiding them to the point of failure then ordering the necessary parts.• Creating a work plan for the given task, helping employees to program hydrodemolition robots and adjust settings to challenging variables in the concrete such as large aggregate, dense reinforcement, or severe degradation.• Working with customers to maintain a copacetic work environment, explaining the benefits and limitations of the technology being used, and adjusting the process to the changing onsite conditions.• Managed water treatment systems and trained employees in their use and the maintenance of PH probes and other monitoring and treatment devices.• Functioned as a field sales representative looking into other work MMW could take on in addition to the contracted work we were brought onsite to complete.
