- Managed Air Force level funding requirements and prioritization for all air-to-ground and air-to-air weapons across the entire portfolio- Interfaced directly with Congressional staffs on the House and Senate sides to ensure consistent messaging and help guide successful funding and programming postures- Worked directly with each of the Air Force Program Executive Offices to determine the optimal combination of development and production balanced across the entire portfolio to meet warfighter needs- Initiated efforts to change development epic timelines for future weapon systems, by creating weapon open systems architectures, developing weapon consortiums with industry leaders, and keeping competition alive to ensure continuous advancement in technologies make their way into US weapon systems to stay ahead of the threat

- Managed acquisition and competitive contracting actions to develop, produce and deliver more than 200 new nuclear detection systems to land and sea ports across the United States- Ensured replacement nuclear detection systems are more effective against threats, more cyber resilient, and more sustainable than previous generations- Crafted and executed aggressive acquisition strategy to leverage commercially available systems while still meeting or exceeding government standards; saved millions in development costs and maintained competition among industry leaders to ensure the most effective and cost efficient solutions

- Unique opportunity to blend my national security background with cutting edge technology development- Worked nanotechnology development and research to determine how future products stemming from nano research potentially helps solve national security challenges- Published paper on topic; performed community outreach in the Chicago area and worked with DoE lab’s national security team on projects related to autonomous vehicles

- Led 65-person team to acquire and integrate a new variant of the B61 nuclear bomb leveraging a guided tailkit based on the Joint Direct Attack Munition (JDAM); improved safety, security, and surety along with tailkit guidance allowed for reduction in fissile material due to improved accuracy- Stitched together development efforts from multiple Department of Energy agencies/labs and Air Force offices to develop a fully integrated system- Created and maintained fully integrated master schedules across 12 different entities to manage the entire program’s enterprise; the Joint Integrated Master Schedule managed by the government team was named a GAO best practice
