For nearly four years, Brian was an assistant district attorney at the Bronx District Attorney’s Office assigned to the Domestic Violence Bureau, Special Victims Division, where he handled hundreds of misdemeanor and felony cases from pre-trial investigations through trial.Brian graduated from American University Washington College of Law in May, 2017 in Washington, D.C. During his time in school, Brian specialized in trial advocacy and was selected for WCL’s nationally acclaimed Mock Trial Team during his 2L year. During his 2L year, Brian co-taught high school seniors as part of the Marshall-Brennan Constitutional Literacy Project. Brian also participated in WCL’s clinic program, successfully representing low-income tenants in D.C. Landlord and Tenant Court by conducting hearings, investigations, and negotiations with opposing counsel. Additionally, Brian was an active participant in law review as a senior member of American University’s Business Law Review. Brian interned during law school with the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia, the New York County District Attorney’s Office, and the Chambers of the Honorable Craig Iscoe of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. Prior to law school, Brian worked as an educator, teaching students from first-grade all the way up to college, in locations ranging from Mississippi to Taiwan, Maryland and the District of Columbia.Brian graduated cum laude from Southern Adventist University in 2009 majoring in both History and International Studies with an emphasis in Italian.
