I am an active member of the Council of South Dublin Chamber of Commerce with specific responsibility for the leadership, management of the key stakeholders in the Tourism sector in South Dublin County.

In my spare time I act as Tour Manager for an International Artist. My responsibilities include the organising and implementation of full touring & concert schedule, all associated budgets, transportation and accommodation logistics, all sound, lighting, backline and stage production,; hospitality and liaising with all media. The locations I have recently worked include but are not limited to the UK, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Faroe Islands, Dubai, Germany, Spain.

Áras Chrónáin Ionad Cultúir (Irish Cultural Centre) - 2000 to dateI am manager of Áras Chrónáin, an Irish Cultural Centre with a full time staff of 11 and an annual turnover of in excess of €500,000. We have over 350 live members, a pre-school, junior school, adult education, evening classes, conference and wedding facility, recording studio and performance venue which also falls within my realm of responsibility. I represent and promote the organisation, its profile and image at all levels in business, state, local authority, membership and local community and I am responsible for all P.R. and corporate affairs strategies and company image with the public, businesses and media (print, radio and television).

South Dublin County Tourism Ltd. Was Founded in 2004 to further enhance the event and business tourism potential of the South Dublin County. I was chairperson from 2009 to 2015. In that time we succeeded in attracting business and events to the South Dublin area valued at over €80 million to our local economy. This business and activity enabled the growth and sustaining of employment in the sector within our county. The co-operation and dedicated work of all involved enabled us to attract business to Ireland, to Dublin and to South County Dublin, business that hadn’t even considered coming to Ireland and or to our wonderful county before.Achievements of the company include the following; • Tourism development by working with approximately 200 members, partners and event organisers.• Attended numerous national exhibitions and international tradeshows.• Assisted approximately 25 large scale events which attracted approximately 150,000 visitors. • Bids, Research & Presentation Team which was integral to attracting the CLRG World Irish Dancing Championships 2011 & 2017, CLRG All Ireland Irish Dancing Championships 2012 & 2014 , Ernst & Young EMEIA Conference 2013, GMB Trade Union Conference 2015, Oireachtas na Gaeilge 2015 and many more.

Responsibility for the Design, development & implementation of the full school music curriculum, including staff management.

Co-presenter of 75 programmes for children’s television series for Irish T.V. station, TG4. This included co-writing all musical material for the childrens programmes.
