Working with NGSS-based academic plans, another teacher and I adapted the ASD High School Physics Curriculum for online learning. We used Canvas to create and curate interactive labs, quizzes, readings, videos, and assignments to align and adapt the curriculum to the accelerated online model teachers would use starting with the 2020 fall school year. Additionally, I have created curriculum and developed Canvas courses for Robotics, Programming, Music Production, Intro to Astrophysics, middle school Physics, and a school-wide planning platform.

I have guided and field instructed in pursuits such as: nature interpretation, hiking, biking, sea kayaking, snowboarding, survival, and avalanche safety with clients ranging from traditional tourists, to college students, to Alaska Native Youth in remote Western AK villages.Employed at: Sockeye Cycles, Alaska Nature Guides, Alyeska Resort, Alaska Wildland Adventures, AGEYA, Frontier Safety and Supply, Arctic Valley, Alaska Pacific University (unpaid), and self-employed.Today I still occasionally teach Wilderness First Aid, First Aid and CPR courses as well as lead avalanche awareness programs.

Working closely with the business owner, we performed energy retrofits to improve the functionality of homes in the challenging Alaskan climate. Through careful analysis and quality installations, we regularly earned accolades from clients and inspectors for the quality of the work and energy reduction outcomes.
