Design is a passion of mine, exhibited my whole life from building lego and k-nex creations when I was younger, all the way to my work experiences where I’d use CAD software daily.On the job, I’ve had the great privilege to work with others. I never failed to make great relations with fabrication workers and shop supervisors, who consistently admired my detail work. I’ve collaborated with field workers and other designers while aiding basic design efforts. Overall, I’ve thrived on the job from seeing my work on screen become fabricated into its final product and seeing it put to use.During my first co-op experience, I learned basic of sheet metal design, and from that, created basic designs and numerous 2D detail fabrication and assembly prints. From my second co-op experience through full-time employment, I’ve predominantly worked with basic piping design. I made basic designs and extensively created isometric pipe spool drawings and plan-view spool/rack/hanger maps, which greatly impressed my co-workers.Outside of work and school, I’ve participated in many organizations. I was a Boy Scout from 2007-2013, and held leadership positions, dedicated 156 service hours, and earned the Eagle Scout rank in 2012. I was part of the UC Bearcat Bands during all of my college years. Playing trumpet and some French horn, I participated in marching band, pep band, concert band, jazz band, and more. I was appointed a trumpet section leader in 2017, retained the role until I graduated, and served on the instrument management team my final season. I joined Tau Beta Sigma, national honorary & service sorority for college bands by invitation in 2016 and remained active until graduation.Though my experience is primarily in piping design and began with sheet metal, two disciplines I’ve enjoyed, I have an open mind and am willing to work in these disciplines or try something new. I am eager to continue my passion for design and make a positive impact on a great team!
