Project Msimbo is an online course provider aimed at students interested in learning Python. The course offers twice the projects per online Python course at half the price. This platform is mobile friendly, making it easily accessible to those who find themselves unable to access a laptop or desktop.The projects I provide ensure my learners leave with versatile skills that increase their employability regardless of their industry. These projects include, but are not limited to, creating a machine learning model that predicts rental prices in Boston, a bot that emails you whenever the price of a certain good on a website is below a certain price, and the infamous Magic-8-Ball game.

- Pioneered early testing of an advanced candidate selection system by creating a BERT-based algorithm integrated with LLAMA 2 and hosted streamlit on AWS EC2. Significantly enhanced the recruitment process in pilot runs.- Engaged in full-stack web development (React, Firebase, Express) of a MOOC tailored for the ACCN community, focused on upskilling for the expanding green jobs sector.- Configured NVIDIA drivers on GPU-enabled EC2 instances, optimising performance for compute-intensive applications.- Championed knowledge sharing, leading one of a series of insightful brown-bag sessions on the transformative effects of AI on the future workforce.- As part of an international workforce innovation lab, I worked seamlessly with a diverse, cross-continental team to build bespoke solutions.

- Conducted market analysis on current EV battery technologies to inform product development.- Used the DBSCAN algorithm to identify potential battery swap locations.- Utilised LLMs to summarise online EV reviews and develop actionable steps to address gaps in the market.- Ensured correct functionality along wiring harnesses and electrical control systems.- Collaborated with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of electrical systems into the overall motorcycle design.- Tested electrical systems and components across multiple EV ecosystems (E-Bike, E-Motorbike, E-Scooters) using black box and white box paradigms.

Finalist at the Cleantech Innovation Competition held by Kenya Climate Innovation Centre (KCIC) in collaboration with the European Union. Currently under mentorship by KCIC, and in collaboration with secondary schools in Kitui. Designed a 3D model for a solar-powered cooker that focuses the sun’s irradiation into an oven using parabolic reflectors in order to cook food. The system was coupled with a solar-powered induction cooker, both of which were indented to provide underprivileged schools with a substitute for the charcoal and wood they use to cook food.

Newstalk Kenya is online real-time chat web application where people congregate to discuss contemporary news topics. My app has a wide array of news topics up for discussion and even has a special space dedicated to promoting up-and-coming journalists who write compelling long form stories. The sister of this - Natures Echo - will be coming out in October 2021 and will be targeted towards climate change new solutions for it.Link: https://newstalk1.web.app/
