I became proficient in my understanding of the local authorities and the benefit systems and the local resources for support and education, I was giving the responsibility of a champion role of H&S champion and was trusted by the project manager to develop and ensure processes and procedures involving all elements of health and safety and building maintenance, including risk assessments FRAMS and procedures relating to safety or using equipment, I developed service user friendly risk assessments that where simple and free from jargon and utilised imagery to outline dangers for more spatial learners. the canal project had particularly challenging service users and its fair share of incidents giving me the opportunity to learn how to effectively write reports and take notes. It was during my time with action for children that I completed my SVQ level 3 in Social work and health
