My main role is to oversee the design and installation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in buildings and other structures.Designing MEP systems: responsible for creating and reviewing design plans for MEP systems in buildings. This involves using computer-aided design (CAD) software and other tools to create detailed schematics and models.Project management: lead a team of engineers and technicians, and also responsible for managing budgets, timelines, and resources for projects.Collaboration with architects and other engineers: work closely with other professionals, such as architects, structural engineers, and HVAC engineers, to ensure that MEP systems are integrated effectively into the overall design of the building.Site visits and inspections: visit construction sites to monitor progress and ensure that MEP systems are being installed according to the design plans.Quality control: responsible for ensuring that MEP systems meet the required standards for safety, performance, and efficiency.
