As a litigator, Brian has been recognized as a Florida Rising Star by Super Lawyers magazine for the last four years, an honor received by only 2.5 percent of attorneys in Florida. His peers selected him to be included in the 2021 inaugural edition of “Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch” for his work in commercial litigation. He has been recognized as an “Elite Top Attorney” by SRQ Magazine in 2020. Brian has also received the prestigious AV Preeminent® Rating by Martindale-Hubbell®, the highest peer rating standard by Martindale-Hubbell that is given exclusively to attorneys who are ranked and reviewed for their ethical standards, communication skills, and legal expertise. Brian concentrates his practice in the area of commercial litigation involving business disputes including company dissolutions, breach of contract and non-compete issues. Additionally he handles litigation for real estate disputes as well as trust and estate litigation and general civil litigation.Holding a Juris Doctor with honors from the University of Florida Levin College of Law and his undergraduate degree with honors from the University of Florida, Brian is a passionate Gator. He was a certified legal intern with the Gator Team Child Juvenile Law Clinic, where he provided free legal services to children in both delinquency and dependency matters, and has been on the board for the Sarasota County Gator Club. Currently he serves as immediate past president of the Sarasota County Bar Association Young Lawyers Division and is a board member for the Safe Children Coalition, a non-profit Community-Based Care provider of education, prevention, diversion, and child welfare services including adoption and foster care.
