Provides direct logistics support for the Navy Special Missions Aircraft Program to include development of maintenance manuals, researching Technical Data Packages, and incorporating technical directives and engineering data into the aircraft technical publications. Provides input to government customer concerning risk factors and best practices solutions for publication development. Reviews work progress against established milestones.

Author and editor for Department of Defense maintenance, training and operations documentation.

Utilizes extensive aircraft knowledge in support of the 24 squadron assigned P-3C, NP-3C, C-130F/R/J, NC-130H, T-2, T-6, T-34, C-2A, E-2C, E-2D, E; 6B aircraft. Oversees 8 assigned personnel managing and monitoring aircraft maintenance procedures of more than 460 active duty military and civilian contractor support personnel. Ensures strict adherence to program procedures under the 3710 DCMA Contract Manual. Conducts aircraft safety of flight related maintenance repair inspections on electrical and avionics systems, power-plant and landing systems. Inspects facilities, reviews and updates technical documentation and training procedures ensuring the most update information is being utilized. Provides aircraft inspection criteria and maintenance procedure guidance to Project Liaison Office personnel as tasked on aircraft assigned under their test plans.

As an avionics maintainer and troubleshooter, coordinated scheduled and unscheduled electrical and avionics systems maintenance actions on 19 P-3C command assigned aircraft. Demonstrated and applied knowledge of wire repair; assisted in the inspection and testing of electrical components by applying theory of operation of transistors, diodes, solid state components and integrated circuits. Maintained and operated aircraft transmitters, receivers, transmission lines, antennas, navigation systems, analog computing devices, communications systems, electronic countermeasures equipment, laser and fiber-optic equipment, infrared devices, recorder systems, and aircraft digital data systems. Directly involved with improving the Work Center's training, safety and Electro-Static Discharge programs. Responsible for the training and certifying of Work Center personnel. Instrumental in completion of 11,292 mishap-free hours. This effort resulted in 100 percent mission capable aircraft status in preparation for 3 simultaneous major overseas deployments to Signally Sicily, Djibouti Africa and Central America.

As an avionics maintainer and troubleshooter, coordinated scheduled and unscheduled electrical and avionics systems maintenance actions on 8 S-3B command assigned aircraft. Troubleshot and identified discrepancies to the component level and ordered items to repair electronic assemblies ensuring the right solution for the right problem every time. Installed components in electro-mechanical assemblies reducing the amount of outsourcing and time needed to repair assets. This effort allowed the squadron to maintain a 100% percent mission completion in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and the global war on terrorism during deployment

As a Flight Line Maintainer, performed launch, recovery, preflight, post flight, turnaround and daily inspections, as well as servicing of 20 S-3B Viking aircraft. Directly responsible for the training and certification of 14 Plane Captains within the work center. Assisted in the execution of multiple work center assignments by possessing a thorough understanding of aircraft systems repair required by assigned squadron maintenance work centers. As the avionics work center flight line troubleshooter quickly diagnosed non-routine avionics malfunctions and demonstrated rapid repair techniques ensuring all flight established training missions were completed during high tempo land based and aircraft carrier operations.
