Current Principal of Mountain Elementary. Engaged in team-building and facilitating a dynamic and high-functioning staff and parent group. This award winning elementary school was recently named the number one school in Los Alamos, considered the best place in New Mexico to raise children.

Helping to facilitate professional development in conjunction with the Division of Instruction, for 460 Elementary Principals, within four citywide conferences held throughout the school year.

Helping to build a highly functioning instructional team. Recently awarded the California Distinguished School Award for closing the achievement gap, using data analysis and targeted intervention.

Helping to facilitate a move from a year round calendar to a traditional track for 1,100 elementary students. This highly functioning, well trained staff organized around the principals of computer coding and the engineering standards, to sharpen their instructional focus on excellence.

A well organized and high functioning neighborhood school, with strong community support. I supported this school in establishing and maintaining a School for Advanced Studies (SAS) 'distinguished' rating. We were selected for a California Distinguished School Award for excellence in the Arts and Academic Rigor.
