Results-oriented lead engineer known as a consistent team player with diverse technical ability:Technical background:I started off at Micron Technology working as an equipment technician on new processing equipment being installed in the factory at the time. Micron was in the process of re-tooling and needed additional personnel to maintain their equipment. Through the next 5 years in the this job role, I became intrigued with the remote automation Micron was using to control this new generation of manufacturing hardware. This new found interest compelled me to return to the university to complete my Bachelors degree which fueled my efforts to move into the process control and data collection support of said equipment. Fast forward a few more years, where I now work directly with the factory automation and control logic for Micron's research and development facility. I love the work I do, but I am currently working to fulfill yet another passion...serving a team with my leadership ability, energy, and focus.Leadership background:Career advancements within the restaurant side of food retail eventually evolved into a management opportunity with Restaurant Concepts Inc based out of Denver, Colorado. Essentially, I managed front and back of the house operations for Applebee's Restaurant in Pocatello, Idaho. In this position, I discovered I had a passion for onboarding and mentoring employees. My partner managers would often defer hiring responsibilities to me as this passion was not a shared sentiment and I had a bit of a knack for finding good servers and bartenders. This talent translated to finding good contractors for my flourishing property management business in later years. Maintaining a staff of framers, plumbers, electricians, and other construction related personnel was imperative when providing housing for the 20 different tenant families for which I had stewardship of. Through the a vast network of previous tenants, tradesman, and real estate professionals, I have been able to put into practice the behaviors required for leadership success. Heathy channels of communication are fostered by up front expectations and clear boundaries. Following this methodology, I have built strong, robust work relationships with the personnel whom I have served.
