I have worked continuously at the University of Minnesota Medical Center since 1997. I began my career as an assistant in the Adolescent Outpatient Treatment Program. After obtaining a Bachelor's of Arts in Psychology I then transferred to inpatient mental health as a psych tech and worked in that role for about 3 years. I then obtained an associate degree in Nursing and began working as an RN in 2002. I have worked in many fields including 10 years in medical-surgical telemetry and the past six years in inpatient chemical dependency.
