Determining and assessing risk to children through the investigation process, developing concurrent plans, making referrals to community resources and developing public awareness of child abuse issues and resources

Implementing and maintaining a structured setting fostering the development of personal and social functioning for each resident. Participating in supervisory and team meetings, retreats, planning sessions, and in-service training. Conducting therapeutic responsibilities for young adults and their families including attendance and intervention at case conferences, consultations, school meetings, doctor’s appointments, family meetings and related case management.

Implementing individualized approved treatment programs in the areas of behaviour management, communication, safety/pre-vocational skills, and daily living skills to individuals with Autism living at the Husky Energy Centre for Autism. Responsible for preparing and maintaining paperwork for assigned clients.
