I have grown up through this company, starting out in my junior days as a document courier in the heart of Fremantle & then an office junior learning about the ins & outs of import seafreight & basic accounting. I spent most of my studying years mainly on the accounts side of the business which allowed me to fully grasp the true scope of our business decisions (cost vs revenue).In the early 2000's I was tutored under Jeanette Melling (with over 30 years industry experience) to learn about import customs documentation & clearance & delivery for both sea & air freight. It was around this time that we migrated to using CargoWise EDI & I studied to become the company's CW superuser & in house system trainer.As the years progressed i moved around the office learning export FCL seafreight, then export airfreight (including obtaining company SCO status for our RACA accreditation) & finally export LCL seafreight. Since 2008 I have also added import bookings & order management to my skill set & then added FCL/LCL cartage to finish of the last of the primary operational stations within the company.Since then I have continued to update my skills in each department & re-learn all operational aspects of the company as often as possible and if required can train new staff members OR slip into any role as & if required.
