New York here I come! I'm moving back to my home state in the beginning of March. I will be finishing my BA in English and working towards my credentials to teach kids the magic of reading I am seeking work in any industry and/or position that will gain value from my skillset while challenging me to expand it. I am an on-the-spot thinker, calm under pressure and a problem solver rather than problem maker. I am both self-motivated enough to work independently and sociable and easy-going enough to work well with others. I eat, drink and sleep numbers while having a passion for reading and writing. I have the patience to work with high-maintenance professional ballplayers as well as tired, crying five and six year olds. I am open to new experiences but have remained loyal to my employers for years. My available start date is June 5Below you will find my background in both baseball stats and my responsibiities driving and caring for children. In brief, I was Vince Scully's behind-the-scenes, right-hand man researching, compiling, analyzing and delivering stats during his LA Dodgers home game live radio and tv broadcasts. I also drove kindergarteners to and from school for the YMCA. During the summer, I chaperoned the same kids on field trips to Disneyland, the park, the zoo, etc. My love of sports and for children served my career well and I hope to find the same enjoyment in my new venture towards teaching and writing.I hope to find an employer willing to take a shot on me. In return, I will be the professional, efficient and well-rounded employee I am known to be.Now, if only the Dodgers would return home with me, then all would be back as it should!
