Conduct oversight on all maritime certifiers and material handling on terminals in the state.• Chair the Washington State Crane Certifiers Examination Review committee, to develop and improve the examinations for accredited crane certifier applicants.• Conduct bill analysis during legislative sessions.• Developed a reciprocity program with Canada for crane operators.• Assist DOSH consultation in areas that involve cranes.• Conducted many site visits to assist/educate companies in developing safe and compliant lift plans in complicated circumstances.• Assist the appeals program in several cases of advanced mediation, and assist the ATG office with several court cases.• Serve as chairman of the Cranes and Rigging subcommittee, and participate on the High Voltage subcommittee for the Construction Advisory Committee.
