Currently working for Gateway building a 7.5m gallon water tank. Replaced 5 vertical turbine pumps and installed most of the inlet and outlet piping for the tank. Both above and below ground. At Gateway I have been able to expand my construction toolset by cutting my teeth on production concrete where I was part of the wall crew and column crew pouring every three days. I’ve also become one of the operators on-site regularly digging trenches with backhoes and excavators. I’ve also been able to get familiar with their gps layout/survey equipment.

I started at Stanek as a laborer in 2014. I quickly moved up and learned a lot of useful skills that span many of the trades in my occupation. My first job as Forman was in 2019. The project was the replacement of 4 vertical turbine pumps, 4 200hp motors and a surge tank. Most of my experience at Stanek has been on the mechanical side. Replacing pumps/motors, blowers for aeration basins at waste water treatment plants, and all related large and small piping.
