I am responsible for grant writing, fundraising, mass communication, public relations, marketing and relationship development for Bear Creek Services. Everything that I do represents the mission and values of the organization. Enhancing current relationships and creating new partnerships has been a key to my success.Crafting messages and themes that are easy to understand is very important. An important aspect of this is to always place yourself in the position of the individuals that you are communicating with. What are their biggest motivations? Craft your message to meet their goals and expectations.Specific responsibilities of my position include public relations, fundraising campaigns, traditional marketing campaigns (TV, radio, print), email marketing, online advertising, direct mail, social media, analytics, press releases, in-person presentations and budgeting.

I began my tenure as a part-time cashier. When I departed, I was the third highest ranked employee of the store. I left in order to pursue a college degree at Winona State University. I was the youngest person at the company to ever reach the Evening Manager position at the store. When the day manager left at 5 PM, I was responsible for all 7 departments, customer service, and roughly 25 staff members.
