As the Director of Team Development, I fostered an empowering work environment through the development and implementation of leadership readiness and team development initiatives. Within this period, I performed various analytical testing to identify causes of tool failure and design customized form tooling increasing tool life, cutting parameters and quality. Moreover, I applied CNC and Macro Programming, engineering expertise, and lean methodologies to establish flow processes and implement SPC systems. Some of my key contributions include:• Project Manager of the implementation of 4 Makino Flexible Machining Centers which not only involved 23 horizontal machines, but those same machines replaced 52 vertical and old machine equipment.• Effectively improved production rates by utilizing accurate cutting parameters. • Reducing overall cycle times by ~80% through advanced programming, tooling and part processing.
