Responsibilities include:- Full financial reporting ownership reporting directly to CFO and President- All financial reporting, and month end accounting close in both GAAP and IFRS standards- Balance sheet account reconciliations and management- Asset tracking, depreciation, reporting, and management- Budget and forecast ownership for all departments in the company- Auditing of internal controls for compliance with global policies- Oversight of shop and maintenance department- Creation and justification for new business case's, investment model's, and buy vs lease analysis- Vendor relationship management for existing services and new equipment quotes- Vehicle and IFTA licensing / registration for 350+ power units and 600+ trailers

- Manage and book all logistics accruals, and allocate expenses to business units.- Own all logistics budgets and forecasts for $1 billion annual shipping forecast.- Generate all logistics month end, quarter end, and quarterly forecast presentations for executive review.- Forecast storage needs based upon available storage, manufacturing forecast and sales forecast.- Verify and code all 3PL invoices to ensure correct billing and contract compliance.- Ensure SOX compliance.

- Working in partnership with Operations and Corporate Leadership in departments (such as Facilities, Transportation, IT, Legal, Corporate Development) to develop operational plans for corporate acquisitions, business changes and start ups to include operational proforma's, hiring costs, equipment needs, due diligence, and labor negotiation support.- Finance Department contact point for field personnel during budgeting, forecasting, and network optimization projects.- Responsible for development of proforma’s to accurately cost new and existing business up-charges to maintain company profitability.- Work with Facility Operators to create, validate, and load budgets and forecasts into Hyperion for warehouse regions with yearly sales, labor, and expenses totaling $1.8 Billion annually.- Work with corporate legal team to provide analysis and savings options in Union labor negotiations.- Created operational savings plans by exploring synergies between various departments on warehouse campus’, and responsible for tracking savings.- Work in collaboration with Transportation, Warehouse, and Maintenance to create a cross departmental scorecard for performance tracking, encouragement of competition and best practice sharing.- Exploring synergies between warehouse regions, vendors, and customer's to consolidate product from select vendors into one location in order to drive cheaper cost of goods and carrying reduced inventory levels.

- Researched, planned and managed warehouse operation’s realignment resulting in $2 mil. yearly direct cost savings, 11% increase in employee performance, and increased employee retention- Implemented team integrated goals in facilities to drive savings and accountability through lean and six sigma practices.- Acted as facility controller at locations I was deployed, to account, monitor, and drive costs to exceed budget.- Managed simultaneous cross departmental new customer start ups and cost reduction initiatives- Conducted staffing analysis, rebuilt and implemented schedules for 200+ employees in a 24/7 operation, resulting in decreased labor costs and late shipments- Planned and executed transition from 3rd party receiving to in house in warehouse operation with both conventional and automated warehouse technology- Was acting compliance and process improvement manager for warehouse with annual sales of $900 mil.- Created and implemented communications to union warehouse associates for progress on cost savings initiatives in California facility.
