To redefine the role as my own, building new processes to take contracts from tender stage through to fabrication, liaising with client needs, factory capacity & ensure installations have the correct levels of workflow. Responsible for ensuring the surveyors working plan & dairies match the allocated factory capacity & fit rate of over 4500 frames a month. Restructured surveyors KPIs & targets, highlighting poor performers. Recruited new surveyors to replace leavers & additional surveyors to increase team’s output. Became proficient in Anglian’s bespoke survey software to be able retrain it’s use to new surveyors. Revamped surveyor bonus scheme to be more market competitive for further recruitment & increase existing surveys incentive & thus increase output. Implemented process to monitor excessive specification & use of frame extensions to reduce waste. Coached, trained & testing all surveyors to attain their MTC qualification. ABP’s lead on project to introduce new survey software, working with IT to ensure this software is FFP. Providing technical support to surveyors on daily basis to ensure we meet all specs & regs. Constantly monitoring workflow, quality of output by surveyors. Working closely with Head office team of Project -co-ordinators, administrators, commercial team & QS’s to ensure smooth flow of work. Achieved a bank of surveyed work of over 6 weeks install ensuring survey is comfortably ahead of install. Built a team out of 12 loan working surveyors, who now feel like they belong to the wider business, using Microsoft Teams for regular group meetings, catchup & exchanges of good practices.
