This company is an online auto auction. My title is Vehicle Condition Inspector, which is as much of a sales and prospecting role as an inspection role.When inspecting, I visit a franchise auto dealership and collect keys for the vehicles that they want us to post on our auction site. The inspection consists of taking a minimum of 43 photos, recording the engine, doing paint meter and tire tread depth readings, using an OBD scanner, and recording all findings. When inspections are complete, I send the condition report to the auction, and do any necessary negotiations. When not inspecting, my duties are to prospect independent dealerships, and keep current buyers engaged.

This is a local company that distributes food and beverage products, primarily to grocery and convenience stores. As an account manager, my job is to visit accounts, order products for replenishment, sell in any new products, and obtain display space. This position, as well as any sales related position requires excellent customer service skills and establishing strong rapport with clients, which is something that I pride myself on.

I began with this company as a merchandiser, simply to get my foot in the door. I was searching for an occupation that would allow my weekends to be free, and this seemed a likely fit.After merchandising for several months, I obtained a class A CDL, and began delivering in the off-premise division. A couple of years later, I was promoted to Key Account Manager on the on-premise side of the company.I managed 92-96 accounts that consisted of restaurants, bars, golf courses, and anywhere alcoholic beverages were consumed on the premises. My responsibilities were to inventory our products in the account and replenish accordingly, sell new and seasonal products into accounts, and to build and maintain relations.

I began in sales with this company, and was promoted to store manager shortly afterward. My responsibilities were sales, customer service, opening and end-of-day paperwork, maintaining store cleanliness, and whatever else was necessary.This was a great company, and I very much enjoyed my time there. My only reason for leaving, is that I accepted another position in order to have evenings and weekends free.
