Just to highlight, over the the last few years I have been developing best practices to load and track quantities and cost in P6. Additionally, I led the effort to develop P6 training materials and train all of the estimators, field engineers, and operations group at Skanska. I was the P6 database administrator which gave me the responsibility to create all user security profiles, grant/restrict privileges, etc., so I could protect the integrity of the database. As the Senior Scheduler for Skanska USA Civil Midwest, I was tasked with putting together various schedules for bid packages, building and maintaining high level construction schedules and reviewing existing schedules to ensure they conform to CPM and other standardized formats. I developed the scheduling standards and procedures for building and maintaining project schedules. As Sr. Scheduler I have developed different levels of training for new users. This includes basic entry level where we learn scheduling terminology and best practices then we get into the program to build a basic milestone schedule from a template I created. As the Primavera P6 database administrator, I built most of the global data including global calendars, labor and non-labor resources (cost loaded and non-cost loaded), and continuously monitor for improvements. I built the Enterprise Project Structure (EPS) in a way that cleanly organizes our multitude of clients into Bid, Active, and Archive sections. As administrator, I set up the security profiles for all P6 users. This includes OBS and project access/restrictions, global and project privileges, etc.

Senior Scheduler and Program Controls Coordinator. The current program PB is managing involves 400+ projects, totaling $1.5B, in Nashville and Middle TN. My specific role requires me to build and maintain Critical Path Method schedules using Primavera P6 v8.1 software. Meeting with project managers, agency managers and program managers allows me to deliver a well planned and organized schedule to accurately forecast key milestones. Other duties involve running a multi-project portfolio report to show what phase each project is in at the current data date.

As Senior Scheduler I was tasked with building, maintaining, and progressing the schedule for turbine maintenance work, boiler repairs, and other smaller tasks during a scheduled outage at a natural gas power plant. In addition, the company had just swapped over to Primavera P6 and I was to train the planning team and build the schedule template for outage work that was to be implemented on other sites in CLECO’s fleet of power plants.

As a scheduler on the Texas CREZ project I was tasked with building, maintaining, and progressing two schedules that totaled around 6,000 activities.The project was to track the progress of 150+ miles of transmission lines going from substation to substation as part of the renewable energy effort in the massive wind power farms in northern Texas.

As a project level scheduler I was tasked with updating project schedules for nuclear power plants across the country. Projects included security upgrades across the fleet, a turbine replacement outage, and several small projects related to outages. For site visits I went through an extensive background checks and training in order to obtain security access to nuclear power plants.
