Objective: To utilize my enthusiasm for Electrical Engineering by building new products to drive technology forward to create a sustainable future. A motivated individual, quick learner, and enjoys new challenges. Currently I am the Plant Manager and Production Engineer for Protection Technologies. I manage the shop's employee schedule, vacation, reviews and training. I have completed classes at UNR for the Supervisory Management Certificate in Feb of 2020. I also oversee the production line of Protech's PIRAMID electronic security sensors. Other duties include procurement of parts for manufacturing using Sage 100 ERP software. I create circuit designs and procedures as well as circuit repair and microwave antenna tuning.I worked for an automotive tool and die shop for over 12 years. While with this company I held positions in several different departments. As a result, I have a strong supply chain knowledge in production and manufacturing. I am familiar with creating bill of materials, customer documentation packages, and maintenance manuals. I have worked with vendors to obtain bids. I excel at working with computers and software especially CAD, in both work and college I used a variety of CAD packages. I have extensive knowledge in Microsoft Office Products including MS Project, MS Visio, and MS Powerpoint. I work with graphic arts programs as in Adobe Photoshop and Corel Draw.Awards Designed, developed and implemented an EV motor controller with variable regenerative braking and throttle for senior team project. Placed 1st in IEEE Region 6 design contest for the project. The project also placed in the top five best energy related business plan in the 2014 Lt. Governor Cup.
