As Chief Security Officer, Brian leads the team charged with development, implementation, and management of LyondellBasell's Global Security, Crisis Management, and Business Continuity programs. Brian is responsible for the strategic direction and management of the function, which partners with internal and external stakeholders in order to reduce risks, respond to incidents, limit exposure to liability, and support the business objectives of a $52B company with over 170 sites in 29 countries.

• Strategic Leadership – Served as the senior-most security official for the company, formulating and executing an enterprise-wide strategy which balanced risk, cost, and customer experience• Trusted Advisor – Supported the CEO and members of the senior leadership team to address any and all security-related matters, and to appropriately mitigate issues posing special concerns or reputational challenges• Liaison Partnerships – Proactively established and led collaborative relationships with multiple U.S. and foreign law enforcement and intelligence agencies to ensure rapid and seamless cooperation when needed, directly resulting in lives saved and costs averted
