Brian is a healthcare executive with 35 years of experience. Currently, he is part of the US market and Global region with a focus on National IDNs, Regional IDNs, Group Purchasing Organizations and Aggregation Groups. He and the team are responsible for all Medtronic Therapies for both sales and alignment activities. In his role, Brian is responsible for $11B+ in Medtronic revenue.His 23+ year tenure with Medtronic includes leadership positions in Medtronic’s Spinal Therapies franchise and Healthcare System where he functioned as a Vice President focusing on Strategic and comprehensive relationships across all Medtronic Therapies with their largest IDN, Provider and GPO customers.Prior to joining Medtronic, Brian was a Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Cardinal Health, Dublin OH with Sales and P/L responsibility for $2.6B in Revenue. At Cardinal Health, he orchestrated the largest and most comprehensive (multiple business unit) agreements in Cardinal Health’s history; generating over $4B in revenue over the life of the agreement.Brian has consulted with many Healthcare start-up’s and Venture Capital enterprises with the establishment and implementation of broad business plans, specifically focused marketing and sales initiatives and capital funding programs.He lives in Denver, Colorado with his wife Diane and celebrated their 34 year union. Their son Hayden (21) is a rising sophomore at Indiana University, Hunter (26) resides in Chicago and their daughter Ashley (31) and her husband Chris also lives in Denver and recently gave birth to their first grandchild. Brian is a Founding Board Member of the HSE YoungLife Christian Youth Ministry, Board Member of the Caroline Symmes Cancer Research Endowment and the HSE Youth Lacrosse Clubs. Additionally, he travels to Ecuador annually as part of a surgical mission trip through Project Perfect World. His passions include; family, entertaining/cooking, fishing and any other outdoor activity!
