Lecturer in Criminology, Policing and ForensicsTeaching undergraduate and post graduate modules as part of the Criminology, Policing and Forensic teaching team my responsibilities include,• Developing new and innovative teaching materials, methods and resources as required• Ensuring that teaching materials and knowledge are current and relevant• Undertaking examination and assessment preparation and marking required by the teaching courses• Engaging with module feedback to develop modules and my own teaching practice.• Administrative duties associated with the management of the university and its teaching programmes• Contributing to course development, including reapproval and reaccreditation of current modules and courses• Providing students with pastoral and academic support • Supervising undergraduate and postgraduate projects• Keep abreast of relevant professional developments and to undertake self-development • Promote the School of Human and Social Sciences criminology, policing and forensic subjects, locally, nationally and internationally • Engage with the Chartered Society of Forensic Scientists and other appropriate professional bodies.

I am an advisor, researcher and writer for TV drama programmes and award-winning authors of both crime fiction and non-fiction books. I have featured in a range of documentary programmes on terrorism, homicide and cold case investigations as a presenter, co-presenter and specialist commentator.

Training and planning to support the effective national and global response arrangements and capabilities to minimise the impacts from nuclear and radiological incidents and emergencies under the auspices of the international Emergency Preparedness and Response (EPR) framework based on the international legal instruments.Role Responsibilities Providing expert support and training activities aimed at building capability of first responders to respond to radiological safety and security related incidents and emergencies within the unified command and control system.Conducting training events and improving delivery and effectiveness of these activities by using up-to-date techniques, consistent training materials and best practices.Develop Training Exercises and Drills EPR to provide adequate reference to Member States for development, and continuous improvement of robust arrangements for preparedness for and response to nuclear and radiological safety and security related incidents and emergencies.
