I manage the natural resources and environmental compliance on the 7,500 acre Fort Custer Training Center for the Michigan Army National Guard.I manage the forests, wetlands, wildlife and water resources on the installation.I am responsible for ensuring that installation personnel comply with all applicable federal and state environmental regulations.

Responsible for the overarching direction of the District's efforts to serve the residents of Calhoun County by providing current, responsible and insightful natural resource management information.I am one of a 5 member locally elected Board of Directors.

Worked on various natural resource and environmental projects at Humboldt Redwoods State Park, Grizzly Creek State Park, Little River State Beach, Humboldt Lagoons State Park and Jedediah Smith State Park.

Field technician for multiple hydrology and climate change related projects with partners in the USGS, Scripps Institution of Oceanography and the California Department of Water Resources.
