As owner and operator of Husted Construction, i would like to take some time and introduce myself to you and share my background.I was born and raised in south San Jose, so naturally my focus of construction projects are always south of the bay.17 years ago i started my on going journey through the professional work of a true craftsmen. My contractor foundation rest on the bedrock of the skills of a carpenter. Early in my career i directed all my focus to the principles of commercial framing as a carpenter in the local 405. With this focus and drive i received awards for my skills,and excelled rapidly within the company i was employed by. I spent the first eight years of my career working for one of the most dominant union framers in the bay area(Rick slater Construction). During this time i acquired and was taught the skills needed to not only survive but strive within this profession.Towards the eighth year as a carpenter i was starting to feel like i needed more and experienced a pull towards other trades such as plumbing,electrical,flooring,etc.During this time i was working alot of my own construction projects in conjunction with my primary job.I was starting to realize that i could possibly start my own buisness.I entertained thes thoughts of becoming a general contractor for about one year, During this time i went to school again to obtain my class B license(General Contractor). Along this road i decided to open my business and no longer have it just be a dream. Now Husted Construction has been in buisness for seven years, striving for the preservation and perfection of my craft. My buisness as a builder has kept me learning, always reviewing current building codes, and the industries newest innovations.My promise to you is that i always provide you with a completely polished project,the diligent nature of organizing all related construction documents, and most important to always be personable,flexable, and be a man with integrity.
