I have been in the field of construction for 30 years, with the main focus of my recent experience being in the rail sector. My Career for pretty much all of the last 20 has specifically been in design and construction projects both tendering and in contract. My main focus of my work is in design management and construction planning for major contractors. In 2014 I took the plunge and launched Peak Engineering Solutions Ltd.My key skills are: - Design management & co-ordination - Engineering Management/CRE - Value engineering - Project planning and controls - Rail planning, all functions, multi discipline design and construct - Specialist structures, generally in rail and highways, including box jacked structures - Delay analysis – planned, impacted, updated I am currently working with Morgan Sindall on Werrington Grade Separated junction and as CRE (Civils) have overseen the first curved box jack structure installed successfully in a 9 day blockade, the second box jack of my career. Until reciently, I have been working with Carillion Rail/Amey looking specifically at GRIP 1-4 project development for the East Midlands CP5 rail framework.
