Brian Ishikawa is a leader in the security field with over twenty years of experience in senior and executive roles in Hawaii and is well-versed in managing complex white collar crime investigations and providing consultation on physical and premises security issues. He currently holds the position as Senior Vice President and Director of Corporate Security for Bank of Hawaii Corporation, the bank holding company providing a broad range of financial products and services to customers in Hawaii and the Pacific Islands. Brian was the first person in Hawaii to earn the designation of Certified Financial Services Security Professional (CFSSP) from the Institute for Certified Bankers. He is also a Certified Protection Professional (CPP), the designation acknowledged worldwide as the security profession’s highest recognition for practitioners. Brian also holds the Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) certification from DRI International. He has been recognized for outstanding performance and service with frequent awards, both public and internal with his employers.Brian believes in active participation in serving and supporting the community in both educational and volunteer leadership roles. Brian currently serves as on the Crime Stoppers Honolulu, Inc. board as its past President and serves as Chairman of the Hawaii Association of Financial Institution Security Officers (HAFISO). He holds memberships with the American Banking Association’s Bank Security Committee and the American Society for Industrial Security’s Banking & Financial Services Council. He has held previous Officer and Board positions for numerous organizations including the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS), Hawaii Chapter and the Hawaii Chapter of Certified Fraud Examiners. He is regularly engaged as a public speaker in his areas of expertise.Brian earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and is a graduate of the FBI Citizens’ Academy.
