I have over 30 years of experience in IT. While most of my experience has been as a developer, I also have experience with Quality Assurance, Technical Support, Configuration Management, Systems Administration, Management and distribution. After receiving my degree I quickly found a job as a C programmer for a small company building applications for import/export brokers. At this company I wore many hats, including developer, software distribution, technical support and LAN management. After a couple of years I was promoted to the level of Senior Manager over development. This was a great opportunity for me and I learned much but unfortunately after less than 4 years of employment the parent company pulled the plug and closed the doors. After relocating to the Midwest I took a job as a C programmer for an insurance company. This was an interesting job as it involved replacing a card reader. It also gave me an opportunity to learn about the OS/2 operating system. After being at this job for about a year I had an opportunity to pickup a 2 week contracting gig for MCI helping with their build system.MCI seemed like a fun place to work with more career growth opportunity so I applied and received a job as a C programmer there. While at MCI / Worldcom / Verizon I worked on various platforms developing and testing automated response units and business applications. I have been an individual contributor as well as team lead, HP QC/ALM Administrator, development lead, Development and QA Manager. In 2015 I took at position as a software developer at SEH America doing factory automation and Statistical Process Control. While working in an agile development environment I utilize my C#, C++ and VB programming skills.
