Lead and develop highly skilled technical staff across multiple facilities throughout southeast Michigan. Responsible for defining IT strategy, executing strategic and tactical, initiatives, policies, process improvement and strategic program planning.Areas of responsibility:Enterprise Infrastructure Systems and Strategic Technology: Enterprise EMR (Epic and CarePlus Next Generation) Datacenter Infrastructure, Enterprise SAN/NAS Storage, Enterprise backup and data protection, Disaster Recovery Infrastructure, Enterprise Directory Services, Servers and Virtualization, Database Architecture, Enterprise Monitoring, Business Intelligence Infrastructure, Infrastructure Security Risk Assessment and Compliance.Manages staff of over 75 team members across 96 facilities across Michigan, with a direct report Management staff of 5. Responsible for assisting in defining and executing strategic and tactical initiatives, policies, process improvement and project planning.Key Projects:• Epic EMR infrastructure systems architecture, design, and implementation for flagship transformative patient caresystem• IT infrastructure systems architecture, design, and implementation for $300 million System project• Disaster Recovery/Co-Location systems architecture, design, and implementation• Server virtualization architecture, design, and implementation• Advanced storage virtualization and resilient infrastructure design and implementation• Develop and direct private cloud strategy: Server, Storage, and Application virtualization, including Mobile Device Management• Legacy EMR infrastructure integration and optimization• Core services process improvement using ITIL frameworks and PMI processes
