About Brian J Rafferty

Having amassed four decades of success in sales and leadership, I launched Carrigart Consulting in 2021, providing professionals with executive coaching, sales recruiting and training and interview skills preparation. Carrigart is the small town in County Donegal, Ireland from which my maternal grandmother emigrated to the US in 1920. She crossed the Atlantic, on her own, worked in a factory and eventually married my grandfather, a Philadelphia Police officer. Gran epitomized what it means to have grit, determination and perseverance. She and my grandfather raised eight children in their SW Philadelphia row home. They now have over 100 direct descendants living in the US.I always admired the odds my immigrant grandmother overcame and I approached my career with the same resolution and innate desire to spawn success in others. Throughout my career, I have been a hiring champion for well over a hundred sales reps and sales managers and have a reputation for having an eye for talent. I have had the honor of mentoring dozens of professionals toward their goals of becoming successful sales managers, directors, product managers, and corporate executives. Hiring, training and motivating are my strengths. Formally trained in Executive Leadership Coaching at the Haub School of Business at St Joseph's University, I have earned International Coaching Federation (ICF) certification, and have earned certifications in sales management and coaching from five consulting firms.
