For the 2022-23 academic school year, I will be a student missionary intern for the Seton Hall chapter of SPO, Saint Paul's Outreach. This involves a number of roles including, but not limited to running a call small group, participating in a formation small group, and helping to plan and run retreats. As a part of being a student missionary intern, I attended student mission training from the end of May 2022 to the end of June 2022 at the University of Saint Thomas in Minnesota. SPO is a non-profit organization whose mission is to build missional communities that share the Gospel with college students and young adults. It will be a month of dynamic teaching on the Catholic faith, powerful worship, and rich fellowship, allowing me to deepen my relationship with God, meet other Catholic students from across the country, and further equip me to build a strong Catholic culture on campus.

I completed my year-long clinical practice at Cranford High School. I was part-time in the Fall going in 2 days a week and full-time for the Spring semester. I taught Geometry, Algebra II, and Pre-Calculus at varying levels.

I fill in for teachers who are absent on any given day. I take attendance and make sure students are on task and working and ensure the classroom is in order.

Held every summer from June to August working with middle school-aged kids. Supervise campers throughout the day on campus as well as any field trips that are taken. Was a lead counselor for my group which included being responsible for checking in and out students at the start and end of the day.For the summer of 2022, I was promoted to assistant director of the camp and was moved to the elementary school to work with students in grades first through fourth. I helped to oversee all aspects of the camp along with the director including but not limited to student arrival and dismissal, field trip sign-ups, and trips, as well as counselor evaluations. *Was not held Summer 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 Pandemic

This clinical experience includes teaching 6th-grade math as well as pre-algebra. This experience involves going to the school one day a week.

I was elected to the role of NJEA Preservice President following a successful year serving as the Preservice NJEA Relations chair. In this role, I help to organize Preservice members and grow membership throughout the state of New Jersey. This includes the launch of the Preservice Academy in September 2021. I work with and lead a leadership team comprised of a vice president, secretary, chairs, and ambassadors. We work together to advocate for issues facing Preservice educators, including EdTPA and student debt. I also serve on the Executive Committee and Delegates Assembly as the voice of all Preservice members.
