Developing exceptional design solutions that enhance clients lives and the natural environment. Primary role is managing project intake, master planning, quality control, schedules, and budgets. In design, I work to develop the project program, collaborates with the clients’ civil engineers, and supply them with documentation needed for permitting & construction.

Subcontracted to Supervised the construction of a 6000+ SF State Employee Credit Union being built in Siler City, NC. Promoted to project manager to wrap up jobs currently under construction.

Created new standards, templates, BIM libraries, and construction notes by combining a previous commercial firm with local residential firm. Coordinated the design and permitting process for 4,400 square-foot restaurant, Ruckus Pizza, Pasta & Spirits in Morrisville, NC. Researched competitive bids on all facets of the architectural process, saving the client over $10k. Created full construction drawing in Revit to allowing the client to see the space in 3D. Program included a maximized kitchen to cater all events for the franchise, new sushi bar concept, exposed ceiling design including custom light features, and a 21st century modern style bar. Construction to be completed early April 2012.

A commercial real estate firm that specializes in as-builts and 360° Virtual Tours for globalized cliental. Developed the BIM department, and managed/trained new sub-contract drafters / surveyors in east coast region. Created full Architectural, PME, and civil 3D Revit models for Starbucks, Coca-Cola, and Bank of America. AutoCAD 2D plan templates/plan sets created for Dollar Tree and Dollar General. Economized travel routes, improved research methods, and streamlined company execution process allowing them to obtain new clients like Best Buy, Family Dollar, and O’Reilly Auto Parts.

Promoted from Designer/CAD Tech to Branch Manager where running all day-to-day operations including, new walk-in clients, hiring and supervising up to 10 employees. Additional duties included: design and sales of custom homes up to15,000 SF, diverse stock plans and additions. Also served as project manager for regional and national developers establishing plans for new subdivisions with single family, multi-family, and clubhouse facilities. Designed and produced multiple options for a single plan.

Created as-builts, finalized plans using AutoCAD Revit to generate 3D models and adding in the construction design details. Helped develop multiple townhome communities which taught me to generate plans of minimal lot limitations and complex programs for mass production. I then transitioned into creating larger luxurious plans for high end communities. Created several award winning Parade of Homes for clients. Developed growing business relationships with national builders to generate an opportunity for the company to expand its local limitations. Projects included: Carolina Trace County Club, Ruckus Pizza Pasta and Spirits - Cary, strip mall fit-ups, dental offices, and medical facilities. Townhome projects included: Renaissance Park, Tryon Villas, The Groves, and Pinehurst Townes.
