Engineering and Production Optimization• In charge of the quality assurance for the 3 model assembly lines, including products such as Smart Scanner, Smartphones, etc.• Improved production efficiencies by implementing new techniques and technologies.• Liaising with the support teams in Taiwan and Mainland China to obtain technical supports.• Performing root cause analysis, evaluation of productions, structural analysis, dimensions of products, etc.• Utilizing 3D drawing for mechanical improvement (Pro/Engineering).• Implemented the use of electric screwdriver, which enhanced production speed by 5% for the assembling station of smartphones. Estimated to generate a surplus of 700USD per month for the company and ROI 1.6 year.• Troubleshoot and perform failure analysis upon manufacturing faults.• Conduct tolerance analysis of component.• Process and defect of plastic modeling.• Perform Mechanical reliability test: normal temperature drop test, cold drop test, vibration test, chamber test, loading test, tumble test, ESD test, IPX 5 & 7.Manufacturing Audit• Tasked with the CTQs project to improve manufacturing quality in order to achieve the QLSS quarterly KPIs. Including assessments of FMEA, MSA, Smart Factory, Industry 4.0, etc.• Preparing for performance audit, including requirements of ISO 9001 (screwing process) and 14001 (Glue Materials Verification).• Improving on the production quality, efficiencies, and other indicators to meet requirements.• Ensure the compliance to ICP test & MSDS standards for the use of HAS materials.
