• Responsible for the management and operation of the store’s Business Office as well as store leadership in a 80+ associate size store. • The Business Office is responsible for the following critical areas: processing paperwork for vehicle sales and purchases, warranty contracts, DMV and Title Management, accounts payable, cash office administration and delivering exceptional customer service. Interact daily with Sales, Purchasing and Operations teams. • Also responsible for recruiting, hiring, training, and continual development of all business office associates and provide support to the team and ensure that processes and procedures are followed.

• Responsible for 11 Hastings Entertainment stores each ranging in volume from $2 Million to $7 Million annually in sales that included over 400 employees total.• Monitored in-store merchandising and product presentation.• Responsible for recruiting, training, and evaluating future management personnel.• Responsible for store’s assets internally as well as externally.• Consulted with upper management and corporate office on policies, procedures, loss prevention and store operations, including personnel, MIS, Security, etc. • Developed leaders whom could drive revenue, control payroll, controllable expenses, employee turnover, and inventory shrink. • Responsible for district in-store audits, loss prevention training, and customer service excellence.

• Responsible for 12 to 16 retail stores at a time. Managed districts based out of San Antonio, Dallas, and Chicago. • Responsible for developing leaders to drives sales through excellent customer service and selling skills.• Responsible for auditing stores to enforce sound merchandising standards, operations, and enforcement of corporate programs, policies, and promotions.• Managed Profit and Loss results, controlled payroll, product, and project management.• Enforced Loss Prevention policies and strategies to control inventory accuracy.
