Independant ContractorSwgte Aug 2009 - May 2011Project: Sweden Green Tech EnergyField: Waste to Energy SolutionsI was contacted by a friend at SWGTE to represent their company as the Exclusive Agent for Malta due to the many contacts I have there. During this time I have negotiated on behalf of SWGTE with Maltese Government Officials concerning a solution of a waste to energy plant in Malta that would not only relieve the problem with garbage disposal but also introduce a system that would turn their waste into energy and fresh water while reducing their current carbon footprint in order to comply with EU regulations. After meeting with these officials and doing onsite visits to existing facilities I returned to Sweden to work with engineers at SWGTE to create the best possible solution for Malta. Upon completion of our suggested solution I along with the sales director from SWGTE returned to present our findings and Waste to Energy solution for the country to the Director of National Resources and Waste Serve Malta. The project was then handed over to SWGTE to follow up.

This included negotiations with e-shops, other payment solution companies along with physical distribution points. It was also my responsibility to identify and find a long term partner involved with other micro payment solutions that would work as a distributor of Getitcard here in Sweden Getitcard is an innovative virtual payment solution that is generally targeted directly towards the youth of today between the ages of 12-18. Getitcard is similar to a pre-paid phone card but is used for purchasing goods like music, mobile content, for use on community sites that charge for the services, gaming communities and other on line activity. It was my responsibility to arrange contracts with e-commerce partners along with physical distribution partners. I arranged a major release for Getitcard in September 2005 in Denmark in association with the MTV Music Awards and there will be another major launch in Sweden in March of 2007 in association with their new partner MyPay and distribution partner Goyada.

Marketing DirectorModern Times Group Mtg May 2001 - Oct 2003Stockholm, SwedenI was headhunted for this position by the then CEO of MTG Radio to come in and find a way to tie sales, marketing and promotions together to create ways to be more profitable and that things ran in a smooth orderly fashion together with programming. I was responsible for a staff of 9 people and we were responsible for all stations in MTG which included Rix FM (National) Lugna Favoriter, Power Radio and Svenska Hits. During my time at MTG we acquired the NRJ Network and I was a part of re-assigning and launching stations to the various frequencies strengthening the Rix FM and Lugna stations around the country at that time.During my time at MTG there was a noticeable change in the way all promotions, sponsorships, cross promotional activities and marketing practices were handled. There were new Benchmark station promotions put in place and new values put on existing station activities for example "The Rix FM Festival", "The Rix Morron Zoo", "Power Summer Party" among others. I left MTG as a part of a managerial change that occasionally happens there and am happy to say that many of the standards and practices I initiated are still in place today. -

Some of our biggest clients were MTV Networks, Nokia, Toyota, AMF, American Express and we also designed internal radio stations for various restaurants in Stockholm.After being headhunted by MTG we sold WKTS to our producer. The name has changed but the company is still in business.
