Brian has an Honours Degree in Chemical Engineering from Bradford University, an Honours Degree in Electronics from the Open University and an MSc in Project Management from Cranfield School of Management. He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Measurement and Control, a Member of the Institution of Chemical Engineers, a Chartered Engineer and a European Registered Engineer.He has over 30 years experience in the Engineering Contracting industry in a variety of industries including refining, petrochemicals,chemicals and gas plants. Starting initially as a Process Engineer he switched to instrumentation and controls. During that time he has worked in all the specialist positions including application engineering before making the transition to management positions.During his time running the Instrumentation Department he successfully pushed through the introduction of IN-tools and embedded it in the working practices. Since then he has held a variety of different management positions including reshaping the Indian Office, ICT Applications Manager C&I Engineering Group Manager, Project Engineering Manager and Control Systems Project Manager. Following that he was Manager of Engineering in Reading Office for 3 years before moving into a role as Manager of Operational Systems. He is currently a Project Engineering Manager . He is a dedicated and committed individual with the ability to motivate the Team to hit the required targets no matter how difficult they may appear and has wide experience with multi-centred project execution.Specialties: Driving changes through to improve project execution such as the introduction of a new database tool and modifying ICT/Engineering systems to make multi-centre execution effective.
