Structural Analyst
Current• Lead finite element structural analyst and responsible for product lines: Tractor Loader Backhoes, Dozers, and Vibratory Compactors worldwide for CNH.• Responsible for completing an array of analysis techniques (linear static, nonlinear, modal frequency, bolted joint, ROPS, FOPS and contact) using multiple software platforms (Hypermesh, Abaqus, nCode Design Life, and True Load) to improve both new and current production components.• Use structural analysis to increase fatigue life, optimize material usage, reduce cost, reduce prototypes, and improve manufacturing of production parts.• Responsible for finite element analysis result presentations, fatigue life calculations, design review presentations, correlation studies, support for test engineers, and writing policies, procedures, methodologies, and standards for CNH design analysis and simulation department.• Develop time lines for each product platform to coordinate budget and labor load.• Supervise lab and field testing and analyze and compile test data.
