Teaching yoga and fitness both 1:1 and in small groups to to employees at a Spa. Most students here are beginners; several are Massage Therapists with injuries to their wrists, etc. or desk staff who sit way too much! Every class is customized to fit students needs or interests. Though I am often rooted in focusing on biomechanics and concerns about brachial plexus nerve entrapment, "carpal tunnel syndrome", pelvic reflex posture patterns, etc., I am also incorporating aspects of Yoga Nidra meditation as taught by my teacher Richard Miller, whose methods have been approved by the US Army Surgeon General to treat chronic pain.

Provide Therapeutic Massage services for various members of the Christian Brothers community as prescribed by a physician, most frequently to alleviate chronic low back pain. Most services paid for by the private health insurance of the Christian Brothers community. I was originally hired here by Brother Ronald Roggenback who "discovered" me while I was working in Calistoga at Golden Haven Spa and he asked if I could provide services onsite at the Mont La Salle monastery near Napa. It is important to note that after my (still unresolved) dispute with the American Physical Therapy Association began in Florida in 2003 and I was betrayed and abandoned by Stanley Paris, the Christian Brothers gave me free room & board at the Napa monastery for several months until I could get "back on my feet". I find this fact fascinating, since in theory the enitre basis for my APTA/Stanley Paris dispute is based on my being deemed unacceptable to Christian society because of my pierced ears. Note that the Christian Brothers are an order devoted to uplifting the poor through education, while the APTA destroyed my PT career and has shunned me for over 2 decades for reasons that are supposedly "Christian".

Continuing Education at the JCC included well over 75 hours Observing Aquatic Pediatric Physical Therapy at the JCC's awesome indoor wheelchair accessible heated pool.

While I was the Lead Massage Therapist here, I also attended an entire lecture series designed to lead to Certified Personal Trainer status by the National Academy of Sports Medicine.

While working here I set the Massage Envy franchise record for most service hours provided in fifty weeks (a year) of 2,000 hours. I did forty hours of massage every week, and was on site over fifty hours a week. With Massage Envy's current corporate oversight it seems impossible that anyone will ever break my record set here. A romantic affair with a coworker led to my leaving this position. When I was subsequently hired at the Mill Valley Health club the owner Michael made me take an oath, "I will not date the desk staff". In theory rumors about this affair in 2008 are why I was later "let go" from prestigious and high-paying Evo Spa in 2011. Erica O'Connor told the owner of Massage Envy San Rafael we had never dated and I had been stalking her for weeks, three days after spending the night at my house, where she got in with her own key... Tasaday who hired me at the JCC and got me my job at Evo Spa knew everything because I told her during my first interview with her. Are secrets worse than scandals for a career? I loved Erica and never hurt her in any way. She broke my heart, lied about me, and got me fired from multiple employers. Accusations of sexual harassment are a career killer in most fields, especially massage. I feel to this day that I deserve the opportunity to take Erica to court for defamation and that she owes me a huge apology. She freaked out a day after I asked her to move in with me, marry me, and have children with me after she asked me out to dinner on a Friday. I was fired from Massage Envy San Rafael a few days later for touching her shoulder in the lobby while she was filing paperwork. Our primary conflict? She was living with another man at the time. Our only argument was whether she was cheating on Nathan with me, or cheating on me with Nathan. Note that Erica was "frisky" and bisexual and also sleeping with the female Assistant Manager at Massage Envy... Dave Navarro knows this story. Someday I need to write a book...

As part of my work at The Stone Clinic, I completed well over 100 Hours of Observation of the Physical Therapy staff, all of whom had completed post-graduate studies in Orthopedic Manual Therapy (OMT) and Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) through the Kaltenborn-Evjenth influenced Folsom Long-term Orthopedic Manual Therapy course. Dr. Stone has extensive experience in many areas, including working with the US Ski Team & doing Senator Dianne Feinstein's hip replacement. While I was working here I attended the product launch party for his company Joint Juice, which now has commercials on the Golf Channel.

At Body Kinetics I worked closely with three chiropractors, an acupuncturist, inside a full Pilates workspace, as part of a full fitness gym.

Performance Plus! was a travelling on-site Team specializing in working at competitive events. I worked many many many events including: Sacramento International Marathon, Vineman (Ironman qualifier in Sonoma County, CA), and the Santa Barbara Triathlon. Duties included making logistic arrangements, delivering, setting up and breaking down our tent in addition to providing massages to athletes.

Over 75 hours of volunteer Observation/Assistance at a small hospital devoted entirely to rehabilitation of joint replacement surgery patients and traumatic brain injury patients.

Onsite education at Golden Haven Spa included two Herbal Facial protocols, utilizing herbal aromatherapy steam (hot towels dipped in a special tea with lavender, chamomile, etc.), mild cleanser, clay mask, and moisturizing mask. No extractions were performed. Massage Therapy staff were also trained in basic foot reflexology techniques.

I was honored to be asked to act as the substitute instructor for Dr. Eleanor Criswell's "Somatic Yoga" class during her sabbatical. Somatic Yoga is a gentle form of yoga influenced by Feldenkrais Method.
