Everyone loves a great story, and during my career I developed an everlasting passion of converting data into stories. For over 16 years I have supported research at the Institute of Geriatric Psychiatry at Weill Cornell Medicine. I have worked my way up to lead data manager of numerous NIMH-sponsored, multi-site, double-blind studies in psychotic depression. I perform all of the tasks needed to transform a research interview or significant event into an analytical database structure. I manage the flow of paperwork and offer guidance in form design, create data entry programs, manage a distributed system for multi-site tracking, supervise data entry, build analysis datasets, and perform statistical analysis with R, Python, and SAS, under the direction of a bio statistician. In these programming languages, I have created scoring algorithms and produced tables and reports of patient descriptives suitable for published research papers and presentations.In addition to Weill Cornell Medicine, I have collaborated with research facilities in Toronto, UPITT, UMASS, Yeshiva, University of Michigan, and currently with Johns Hopkins.
